Set the walk order. See the metres before you save.
Choose how pickers move through each zone: serpentine, one direction, reverse, or your own order. Waresify draws the route on the floor plan and estimates the walking distance per sweep. Pick tasks follow the route you save.

What the route controls
The route is the order the system hands out pick tasks. Changing it does not stop picking that is already running. It changes the order of future work.
Compare strategies with numbers
Generate a route and Waresify shows the racks, locations, pick faces and an estimated distance for one sweep through the zone. In the layout in the clip above, switching pallet storage from same direction to serpentine cut the estimate from about 407 m to 238 m.
Your own warehouse gives its own numbers, and you see them before you save.
Questions
What is a serpentine pick path?
A route that walks one aisle in one direction and the next aisle back the other way, so pickers do not walk back to the start of every aisle.
Can I exclude a zone from the route?
Yes. An excluded zone keeps its own route, and its tasks are handed out after the zones in the sequence.
