Quality Control
Quality control lets a supervisor put any license plate or lot on hold at any point, from inbound to an outbound pallet. Held stock is frozen and invisible to allocation. A QC worker inspects it and passes it, passes part of it, or fails it to quarantine.

How quality control works in Waresify
QC is not tied to one workflow. An inspection can start on stock at inbound before putaway, in storage, in transit, during or after picking, or on an outbound pallet before loading.
Placing a hold takes the stock out of allocation at once. Its available quantity drops to zero until the inspection ends.
Inspection outcomes
- Passed: the stock returns to available.
- Partially passed: the passed quantity is released on a new license plate and the rest goes to quarantine.
- Failed: the stock goes to quarantine. From there it is returned to the supplier, destroyed, or reworked into a new license plate.
What happens to open picks
A pick task on held stock moves to the next valid license plate automatically and the worker carries on. If there is no replacement, the task is blocked and the supervisor is notified.
Questions

Which plan includes quality control?
