Adjustment approvals put a supervisor between a stock correction and the stock ledger. With the module on, every adjustment waits as pending and changes no stock. Supervisors of that warehouse are notified. Approving posts one ADJUST movement that records who approved it. Rejecting writes nothing to the ledger, and the person who raised it hears the outcome.

How adjustment approval works in Waresify
Without the module, an adjustment posts to the ledger the moment it is saved. With the module on, it stays pending until a supervisor decides.
The stock movement keeps both names: who raised the adjustment and who approved it. A rejected adjustment records who rejected it.
Which adjustment types need approval
Every adjustment needs a type, and with the module on every type goes through approval:
- Count correction
- Damage write-off
- Found stock
- System correction
What Waresify checks before posting
A write-off cannot take a stock row below zero or below the quantity already reserved for orders. Waresify checks this when the adjustment is created and again at approval, because stock can move in between.
If the location holds the item in more than one lot, the adjustment must name the lot. Waresify will not guess which lot was wrong.

Does every adjustment need approval?
Yes, when the module is on. There is no quantity threshold in this version: each adjustment waits for a supervisor. With the module off, adjustments post immediately.
What happens to a rejected adjustment?
Nothing is written to the stock ledger. The adjustment keeps its rejected status and who rejected it, and the person who raised it is notified.
Which plan includes adjustment approvals?
Adjustment approvals are in the Core tier, so every plan includes them. Pricing is announced before launch.
