Proof of Delivery (POD)

Professional plan and up

Proof of delivery confirms that a dispatched shipment reached the customer. The customer gets an emailed link at dispatch, confirms receipt with no login, notes any exception and signs. Supervisors can record a paper or phone confirmation instead, and your ERP is notified.

How proof of delivery works in Waresify

When a shipment is dispatched, Waresify emails the customer a unique link. The link accepts submissions for 7 days by default. The customer confirms receipt, records any exception and signs on screen.

You decide whether a signature is required and whether the customer can upload photos.

Delivery outcomes

With the module on, a dispatched shipment ends in one of three states.

  • Delivered: confirmed in good condition.
  • Delivery exception: confirmed with a problem the supervisor must act on.
  • Delivery failed: the delivery did not happen.

When the customer does not respond

If no confirmation arrives within 3 days by default, the supervisor is alerted. The supervisor can always enter the POD by hand from a returned paper copy, a carrier email or a phone call.

Which plan includes proof of delivery?

Proof of delivery is in the Professional tier, so the Professional and Enterprise plans include it. Pricing is announced before launch.
