Segregation and limits

Each hazardous item records its UN number, proper shipping name, hazard class, required PPE and optional quantity limits. At putaway, incompatible classes are kept out of the same location or zone. At picking, batch picks never combine incompatible classes in one tote, and shipments with hazmat items are flagged as dangerous goods.

You configure the rules for your operation. Waresify does not ship regulatory text, because it differs by jurisdiction.

Who handles what

Every restriction blocks by default. An authorised supervisor can override one, and the reason is logged. With intelligent task assignment, tasks that need a hazmat certification only go to certified workers.

Modules that matter most

• Hazmat Compliance Enterprise plan and up

  Hazmat compliance attaches UN hazard classes to items and enforce your segregation rules at putaway, picking and shipping. Workers see PPE alerts before handling hazardous goods. Restrictions block by default, and an authorised supervisor can override one with a logged reason.

• Lot Tracking Core plan and up

  Lot tracking ties every unit of stock to the production batch it came from. Waresify records the lot number, expiry date and supplier lot reference when goods are received, keeps the lot on every stock movement, and allocates the lot with the earliest expiry date first when orders are picked.

• Quality Control Professional plan and up

  Quality control lets a supervisor put any license plate or lot on hold at any point, from inbound to an outbound pallet. Held stock is frozen and invisible to allocation. A QC worker inspects it and passes it, passes part of it, or fails it to quarantine.

• Intelligent Task Assignment Enterprise plan and up

  Intelligent task assignment has Waresify choose which worker gets each task. It scores available workers on zone, current workload, task priority and travel distance, checks required skills and certifications, and offers or pushes the task to the best match. Supervisors can override any assignment.

• Multi-UOM Support Professional plan and up

  Multi-UOM lets one item be received in pallets, stored and picked in eaches, and shipped in cases. Each unit has a fixed conversion to the item's base unit. Stock is always held in the base unit, and every movement records both the unit handled and the base quantity.
