Warehouse management for wholesale distribution
Wholesale distributors buy in pallets and sell in cases and eaches. Waresify holds one item in several units of measure, picks whole pallets when an order takes everything on one, moves stock that is already sold straight to outbound, and confirms delivery with the customer by email.

Pallets, cases and eaches
Multi-UOM gives each item fixed conversions, for example 24 eaches to a case and 40 cases to a pallet. Each unit can have its own barcode, and stock is always held in the base unit, so the numbers add up whatever unit a worker scans.
When an order line takes the whole pallet, the pick task becomes a full pallet pick. The worker scans the plate and confirms it without counting.
Faster receiving
With advance ship notices, the supplier manifest arrives before the truck and Waresify pre-builds the expected plates. Workers scan each plate to confirm it instead of counting. When a received plate is already needed by a waiting order, cross-docking sends it straight to outbound staging.
Delivery confirmed by the customer
Proof of delivery emails the customer a link at dispatch. They confirm receipt with no login, note any problem and sign. Customers can also follow their orders and download delivery confirmations in the customer portal.
Modules that matter most
- Multi-UOM Support Professional plan and up
Multi-UOM lets one item be received in pallets, stored and picked in eaches, and shipped in cases. Each unit has a fixed conversion to the item's base unit. Stock is always held in the base unit, and every movement records both the unit handled and the base quantity.
- Full Pallet Picking Core plan and up
Full pallet picking lets a worker pick an entire license plate, usually a pallet, when an order line takes everything on it. The pallet stays intact, the pick task names the whole plate, and the worker confirms it without counting units.
- Cross-Docking Core plan and up
Cross-docking moves received stock straight to outbound when an open sales order is already waiting for it. At receipt, Waresify checks for a waiting order and creates a cross-dock task from inbound staging to outbound staging instead of a putaway task.
- Advance Ship Notices (ASN) Professional plan and up
Advance ship notices let a supplier's shipping manifest arrive before the truck. Waresify pre-builds the expected license plates from the manifest, so at the dock workers scan each plate to confirm it instead of counting blind, and any difference is recorded against a specific plate.
- Proof of Delivery (POD) Professional plan and up
Proof of delivery confirms that a dispatched shipment reached the customer. The customer gets an emailed link at dispatch, confirms receipt with no login, notes any exception and signs. Supervisors can record a paper or phone confirmation instead, and your ERP is notified.
- Customer Portal Professional plan and up
The customer portal gives contacts at your customers their own login to follow their sales orders, order lines and shipments, and to view or download proof of delivery. It is read only, and portal users do not count as seats on your plan.
- Auto-Replenishment Core plan and up
Auto-replenishment keeps pick faces stocked from reserve storage. Each pick face has a minimum and maximum quantity. When stock falls below the minimum, Waresify creates a task to move stock from a bulk or reserve location, holds that source stock for the task, and raises a purchase suggestion when no reserve stock exists.
Questions
Can one item be stocked in pallets and sold in cases?
Yes. Multi-UOM converts every unit to the base unit, so an item can be received in pallets, picked in eaches and shipped in cases.
Do my customers need an account to confirm delivery?
No. The proof of delivery link works without a login. The customer portal is optional, for customers who want to follow their orders.
